The friendly staff at Ndutu Lodge have been at the lodge for many years and are ready to welcome you to a memorable stay. The lodge has a very informal, intimate feel to it with the original bush camp that was built by the legendary hunter Mr George Dove back in the 60's. There are marvelous cottages that have replaced the tents and the main buildings do not place any barriers between nature and the guests.
During breakfast at Ndutu Lodge, you will be delighted at the iridescent birds and at lunch time you may spot a group of elephants passing by, while at dinner you will catch a glimpse of the friendly genet gliding by. Many biologists and wildlife photographers have graced the Ndutu for decades. It is said that the lodge has the best food within 50 kilometers and the only bar. Here you will find friendly service and a magnificent atmosphere.
Experience the wonderful wildebeest during the rains in December until May and then the calving on the gorgeous plains in February, ready to gallop out through the woodlands and to swim across the lake. During June it is time to observe our resident friends such as the elephants, impalas, giraffes, birds and every type of cat you can think of. Read a lovely book, catch up on your dairy, write some postcards, stroll through the vast woods with some of the rangers, inspect the special local sights or toast your toes next to the roaring campfire.
