Jongomero Tented Camp offers 8 spacious and very well appointed tented suites, situated on raised wooden platforms. There are enormous thatched roofs that cover the tents and a fabulous private veranda. Each of the tents are spread out on the sand river where the animals go to drink water.

The lounge and dining areas are very comfortable and original with great views and a place where you can listen to the sounds of the bush surrounding the camp. The meals are an absolute delight and you can truly relax in this magnificent retreat.

Cool off in the natural "hippo friendly" pool on warmer days. The camp is not fenced off and the animals are free to roam around. You can spot elephants during the day and night, buffalo and occasionally lions and leopards. There are exciting game drives and walks around the camp as well as fly-camping which is a 1-2 day excursion by foot.
