Mnemba Island Lodge is a barefoot paradise with only 10 guest bandas. Unwind in the beachfront haven where the bandas all peep out onto the unblemished sands from the casuarina pine forest. A corridor of fabulous woven palm leaves will lead you to a fantastic spacious shuttered bathroom where you can rinse off in the large stone shower that hides behind the beaded curtain.

Sea breezes at Mnemba Island Lodge drift through the high palm frond roofs with their large windows. The overhead fans cool down the spacious bedroom that is filled with natural and soft fabrics. The rooms have traditional woodcarvings and plush armchairs that allow you to enjoy the marvelous ocean view from the veranda.

Here you can discover some of the best dive sites in Africa on a fabulous coral atoll. Some activities to look forward to include swimming directly from the beach, snorkeling, kayaking, fly fishing, deep sea fishing and windsurfing. During the breeding season you can see the endangered green turtles on the breeding site in Mnemba. The balmy blue waters invite you to go and explore the magnificent Indian Ocean. The island has two dive boats and a dive school that ensure the waters are not too crowded, maximizing your underwater experience.
